Brooklyn-based Creative Workshops

Going to be in Brooklyn?

826 NYC offers free evening and weekend workshops designed to foster creativity, strengthen writing skills, and provide students with a forum for executing projects they might not otherwise have the support to undertake. Workshops range from the playful to the practical, and all are taught by volunteer writers, artists, educators, and publishing professionals.

Some sample workshops include: Summer Filmmakers, I am a Mutant Monster!, You Must be at Least This Tall.

Enrollment in workshops is determined by lottery and students must commit to attending all sessions.

Visit their website here.
This is a Free program.
